On Thursday November 9th, the Rotary Club of West Nassau welcomed District Governor Robert Leger to their club.

DG Leger attended the club's monthly board meeting prior to the regular weekly meeting. There he was updated by the President and his directors on the club's strategic plan, progress toward achieving it's goals and plans for the remainder of the administrative year. DG and his wife Rosa, herself a dedicated Rotarian, shared ideas with the board on how to engage members and get the message of Rotary out to the wider community.

At the regular weekly meeting itself, DG Robert addressed the general membership, informing them on key initiatives that both RI and the District are undertaking. He also encouraged the members to make plans to attend the District Conference in Petionville Haiti, next May, as well as the historic installation of RIPE Barry Rassin as RI President next June in Toronto Canada.

DG Robert shared his pleasure and pride in RCWN for its continued giving to and support of Rotary Foundation. He and Rosa have also promised to return next week for the Foundation Gala, which is to be held on the 16th November.
