Proposed amendments to the Sexual Offences Act and the subject of Marital Rape

Mr. Storr is the Managing Partner at the law firm of Providence Law located in Nassau, The Bahamas with extensive experience in corporate and commercial law, real estate and estate administration and asset recovery.  He currently serves on several boards as a Director including BAF Financial and Insurance (Bahamas) Limited, JMEL Enterprises Ltd., the Board of Governors at Bahamas Faith Ministries International, and a Trustee and legal advisor to the International Third World Leadership Association. He is also a former Honorary Secretary and Director of The Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and Employers Confederation, a former Director of the National Insurance Board of The Bahamas, and a former senior executive in the hotel and tourism industry.

 

Mr. Storr has an Associate Degree from the College of the Bahamas with a double major in accounting and marketing, a Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Management from Florida International University, a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Kent in the United Kingdom with Upper Second Class Honours and is a member of Lincoln’s Inn.

 

Mr. Storr was called to The Bar of England and Wales in July 2002 and The Bahamas Bar in September 2002. Prior to law Mr. Storr spent ten years working as a hotel executive including three years as Director of Sales at the Radisson Cable Beach Resort (now the Melia Resort, Cable Beach). 

 

Mr. Storr is married to financial services executive Charlene Y. Storr and the couple have three children.
